 Metrel's BetaPAT PAT Tester
Metre's BetaPAT PAT Tester is packed with time saving features. The Beta PAT can test Class 1, Class II and Class III electrical appliances. The Metrel BetaPAT is a downloadable PAT Tester. Results can be stored on the Beta PAT and then downloaded onto the optional SimplyPATs Version 5 Software
It can store electrical appliance names e.g. PC, VDU, Kettle, angle grinder, photocopier etc plus Building / Customer names and Room / Department names for default recall.
The unit differs from the Metrel OmegaPAT as this unit does not have a flash test facility, The IEE guidance notes do not recommend a flash test for in-service testing of electrical equipment as this can damage equipment.
